Effect of Protein Palmitoylation on Protein Tyrosine Phosphorylation in Sperm. The effect of 2BP, a protein palmitoylation inhibitor, on tyrosine phosphorylation in sperm was assessed. Protein tyrosine phosphorylation in sperm was detected by Western blotting after treatment with various concentrations of 2BP for 0 min (A) and 90 min (C), and the level of protein tyrosine phosphorylation was quantified using ImageJ software in (B) and (D), respectively; the gray intensities were normalized against β-tubulin, the loading control. Data are presented as means ± SEM (n = 3 or 4 repeats, pooled samples from 12 mice per repeat), with the DMSO group serving as the vehicle control. A P-value < 0.05 denotes statistical significance
